Overview: We are seeking an administrative clerk able to compile and maintain records of business transactions and office activities of establishment by performing the following duties.

The ideal candidate will answer phones, tabulate and post data in record books, record orders for merchandise or service, receives counts and pays out cash, prepares stock inventory, adjusts complaints, greets and assists visitors, opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, prepares outgoing mail, Prepares, issues and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, checks, and much more.

This is a career opportunity which offers a team environment with mentoring management style. Position is based in rural Hebron, IN located about 40 miles southeast of downtown Chicago, IL.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PASSION FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE A MUST!
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills. Interface and support customers and fellow employees in other departments.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
